We have optimized the BMW N45 engine with the Bosch ME9.2 ECU for both street and track applications. Our development has focused on improving power output, fueling, ignition, and, most importantly, camshaft position at higher RPM.

On the BMW 116i N45, the factory camshaft settings are often not ideal for maximum power. Camshaft position is especially critical when using more aggressive camshafts with the OEM ECU, as proper calibration is essential to unlock the engine’s full performance potential.

There are maps for intake and exhaust VANOS set-points, idle, part load, full load. All Should be adjusted.
